SAT Critical Reading Test Prep in Atlanta and the Surrounding Communities

Long (or even short) reading passages bully even the most seasoned test-taker.  How do you know what is important in a given section?  How is *X* word being used in *Y* sentence?  How would author of passage *A* respond to author of passage *B*?  These questions vary from test to test and from the PSAT/SAT to the PLAN/ACT.  We can help you determine your best strategy for success by examining publicly available information like that listed below.

According to information published by the College Board, the Critical Reading section of the SAT examines various reading-related skills for students including:

 - Determining the Meaning of Words
 - Author's Craft
 - Reasoning and Inferencing
 - Organization and Ideas
 - Understanding Literary Elements

Knowing how to apply these skills in a timed, multiple choice format will be an significant part of our tutoring process.  Students can rise to higher levels of comfort through frequently practicing these skills.  Practice's necessity becomes evident for students as they start to feel "at home" with the test.  Our tutoring practices are designed to usher students into a place of high competence and high comfort in answering these types of questions.
