Small Group Tutoring - Cohort Tutoring
3J Test Prep desires to provide efficient, knowledgeable, and affordable test preparation. While we see one-on-one tutoring as the most effective avenue for many students, we realize that some students prefer to work in small groups. We use the term "cohort" to refer to a small group because it implies mutually working together toward the same goal.
Learning Cohort
When several students know one another and are of similar ability, cohort tutoring becomes an excellent option. The costs of tutoring decline when we tutor multiple students simultaneously, providing some level of savings for parents and students. The major factor we consider when scheduling cohort tutoring is whether the students are able to work well with one another:

We provide hour-long tutoring for cohorts in two different size ranges:
- 2-4 students (rate: 20% less than one-on-one tutoring)
- 5-10 students (rate: 30% less than one-on-one tutoring)
